Joseph "Joe" Danny Thompson 72 of Louisville passed away on September 7, 2019 with his family by his side.
Joe was a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Alvin and Mary Saling Thompson; his grandson Connor Dishon.
Joe is survived by his wife Rita Dishon Thompson of 22 years; his children Todd Thompson of Louisville, Laura Dishon and Chris Dishon of Shepherdsville; his siblings Cheryl Givens (Mark), Bill Thompson (Cindy), Judy Thompson, Maria Keith (Joe), Gary Thompson (Pam) and Bonnie Givens (Tammy); his grandchildren Kaitlyn Thompson, Ray Thompson, Brandon Dishon, Riley Moore and Ella Dishon.
Cremation has been chosen by the family in honor of Joe's wishes.
