Joseph Patrick Ewing, 50 of Bagdad passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.
Joseph served in the United States Army and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was member at the Life of Faith Bible Church and a member of the Green Knight- Girl Scouts. He was an avid University of Louisville fan.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife Tonya Ewing; his children Cindy Ewing (Justin Richardson) of Shepherdsville, Alex Ewing (Ruth Vanhoose) of Bagdad, Kacie Ewing (Dennis Schuman) of Shelbyville, and Kaitlyn Ewing (Damon Bowles) of Bagdad; his parents Joseph A. and Barbara Ewing of Louisville; his siblings Beth Comstock Simmons (Mike) of Louisville, Tony Wells (Bob) of Louisville, Stacy Snider (Jay) of Buckner, and Danny Ewing (Jennifer) of Owensboro; along with his grandchildren Braxton Wheatley, Bentley Wheatley, Haleigh Richardson, Kailynn Richardson, Winni Wheatley, Melanie Ewing and Lakeann Richardson.
Funeral Service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 with Rev. Stephen Frazier officiating. Cremation to follow.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
