Joseph L. Bowman

Joseph L. Bowman, 78 of Lebanon Junction, returned to his heavenly father on Saturday, December 17, 2022, peacefully at his home.
Joseph was a Baptist by faith and had been a member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon Junction. He was a wonderful husband and father, and the best papaw. He loved life, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always looking forward to planning the next family meal. He was such a kind man, that would give you the shirt off his back. He was loved by and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Rissa Bowman; his siblings, Ray Bowman, Evy Russell, Betty Cox Sutton, Ester Hutchinson, Dorothy Bowman, and Louise Turner.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of over 55 years, Nancy Bowman; his daughter Beverly Foster, and her husband Mark; his son Duwayne Bowman, and his wife Cathy; his grandchildren Anthony Krempp (Brittany), Nicole Krempp, Brittany Anderson (Ian), Katie Bowman, and Dylan Bowman; his great-grandchildren Jordan Morgan, Bella Krempp, Noah Krempp, Luka Anderson, and Lucian Anderson; his siblings Earl, Junior, Kenny, Dave and Jack Bowman, Judy Withrow and Ruth Lacey.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, with Bro. David Geary officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
