Jonathan "Jon" Thomas Morris Sr.

Jonathan “Jon” Thomas Morris Sr., 44 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at his home.
He was a proud engineer design tech at LG&E. Jon was a big Kentucky Wildcat and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed good bourbon and cigars. A huge movie buff, he was a collectibles connoisseur with anything that had to do with movies, UK or sports. He was a loving father and a typical brother that cared deeply for his family. He went all out on Halloween, ensuring that they always had the best buildings, designs, and decorations.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dalton and Susan Morris.
Jon is survived by his wife Shellie Morris; his children Jonathan Sr., Joey, Anna, Cameron and Emma Morris; his siblings Melissa Jennette (Brian), David Morris, Rebecca Calvert and Ellen Morris; his mother-in-law Linda Sparks; his aunts Jewell Raymer and Karen Simmons; his cousins Kevin Raymer, Steve Raymer, Mary Beth Carter and Terri Harrison; along with several nieces and nephews all of which were good to him and loved him dearly.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with David Chatman Flood Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.
Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2022 from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
