John Barry Shaw, 74 of Shepherdsville, passed away at his home on Friday, December 4, 2020 after a battle with an illness.
John was a hard-working man that took exceptional care of his family. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He loved anything that had to do with the Louisville Cardinals, while also enjoying fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Shaw was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Naomi “Bea” Shaw; his siblings Jim Shaw, Michael Shaw and Margaret Shaw.
John is survived by his beloved children Lisa Rafalski (Bruce) of South Bend, Indiana, Stacy Randall (Aaron) of Westfield, Indiana, Amanda and Jessica Shaw, both of Louisville; a step-son Shannon Rogers of Hardinsburg; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of which he loved dearly; along with a personal friend and caretaker Mychall Smith.
The family has chosen cremation at this time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
