RITCHIE, JOHN THOMAS, “TOM”
67, PASSED AWAY AT Baptist Health, Monday June 22, 2015 surrounded by family. Tom graduated with honors from Camden Community College and attended Rutgers University. He was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard.
Tom was a retired sales manager for Allied Beverages, Mt. Laurel , New Jersey.
Tom attended St Francis of Assissi grade school and Trinity High School in Louisville where he was active in many sports. He remained an avid sports fan all his life, especially the Philadelphia Phillies.
Tom was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard S. Ritchie, Sr. and Vivian Kingsbury Ritchie.
Tom is survived by his wife of 38 years, Francine Reader Ritchie, daughters, Darrah O’Brien (Daniel): Dana Ritchie (Bobby), and son John Thomas Ritchie, Jr. , grandchildren, Vivian, Brady and Annie.
He is also survived by brothers Bernard S. Ritchie, Jr. (Barbara), Frederick K. Ritchie (Betty), Joseph F. Ritchie (Cecilia), Mark E. Ritchie (JoAnne): sisters, Kathleen R. Loran (Dave), Sandra R. Messina (Vincent), Mary Ellen Kittell, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be Friday , June 26,2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, 605 S. Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, Ky.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
