Joe L. Vanhoozer, 94 of Shepherdsville passed away at his home Thursday, December 7, 2017 with his family by his side.
He was a retired Millwright with International Harvester.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Parsley Vanhoozer; his parents Clinton and Clara Vanhoozer; along with a step daughter Shirley Wilson.
Joe is survived by his children Judith Vanhoozer of Bardstown, Joe L. Vanhoozer Jr. of Laconia, IN, Darrell Vanhoozer (Rhonda) of Gainesville, TX and Gary Vanhoozer (his special daughter in law Gladys) of Shepherdsville; his step children Betty Wilson, Mary Sanders, Carol Scaulk and James Wilson; his sister Dorothy Smith of Fairdale; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; along with several step grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday 9-11 a.m.
