Joann Pilkerton

Joann Pilkerton, 74 of Mt. Washington passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital with her family by her side.
She was a Pentecostal by faith. An avid bingo player. She loved shopping and her cat, Storm.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Pilkerton; her son Kenneth Pilkerton; her parents Raymond and Dorothy Wyant; and her sister Linda Barta.
Joann is survived by her children Lester Pilkerton (Annette) and Michelle Pilkerton (Mitchell) both of Mt. Washington; her siblings Georgia Basset (Alan) of Mt. Washington, Carla Franks and Debbie Kennedy, Bernard Wyatt (Marie) of Shepherdsville and David Wyant of Indiana; her grandchildren Kenneth Worner, Michael Pilkerton, Alyssa Pilkerton, and Aaliyah Byrd; along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11am Friday, January 11, 2019 with Bro. George Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
