Jo Ann Thomas

Josephine Ann (JoAnn) Thomas, 86, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away on November 24, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents Josephine and Edward Morrison; her brother Eddie Rae Morrison; her sister Mary Lou Smallwood; her son Jerry Thomas III; her daughter Debbie Thomas.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Jerry Thomas II; her son Tony Thomas; her sister Doris Cundiff; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
JoAnn, along with her husband and son, owned and operated Ridgeview Greenhouse and Nursery in Shepherdsville, KY for nearly 60 years. Along with the nursery, JoAnn was a treasured presence in her community. Known and loved by many, she was a friendly face and a loyal friend. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her comforting presence and words of wisdom will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, KY on Thursday, December 2nd from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held at Brookland Cemetery with Bro. Stephen Crenshaw officiating.
