Jessie Laswell 81 of Lebanon Junction passed away on Saturday January 22, 2022 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehab in Hodgenville after a brief illness.
She was a native of Shepherdsville and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fairdale.
Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Paul Laswell, her parents William T. and Helen Perkins, two brothers James A. and Alvin Perkins.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Jenkins and her husband Michael of Lebanon Junction, her granddaughter Kristen Mikesell and her husband David of Lebanon Junction, her siblings W.T. Perkins, Jr. of Bullitt County, Sally Freeman of Louisville and Bennie Perkins.
Funeral Service will be at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, Thursday at noon with Brother Sonny Mull officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. till time of service.
