Jerome "Jerry" Lee Whitworth

Jerome “Jerry” Lee Whitworth, 81 of Shepherdsville passed away at his home Sunday, February 24, 2019 with his son by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest M. and Mary A. Whitworth and a brother Clark Whitworth.
He was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, a Mason at The Grand Lodge of KY F.&.A.M. Local Lodge 155 and worked with Bullitt County Rescue in the 1960’s. Jerry was a hard worker who spent most of his time on the farm. He enjoyed being with his family and playing music.
Jerry was survived by his wife Cloda “Gabby” Faye Whitworth whom passed away the following day; his son Paul Whitworth of Poplar Bluff, MO and a nephew William Whitworth of Alabama; along with several friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
Visitations will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
