Janice Marie Van Meter 77, of Hodgenville passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 with her family by her side.
Janice was born in Ojai, California and a Christian by faith. She was Melissa’s personal driver. She had the brightest smile. Loved by all and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oren and Irene Sawyer; her siblings Melvin Sawyer, Lorraine Graham and Glen Sawyer.
Janice is survived by her daughter Leona Gutierrez of Hodgenville; her grandchildren Melissa Peace (Joshua) of Hodgenville, Jessica Ward (Michael) of Senora; her great-grandchildren Anthony Arroyo, Carl DeFrees, Osyrus Peace, Mikey Ward and Love Ann Peace; along with her beloved friend Marvin Gill.
Cremation has been chosen by the family.
