Janet Denise Browning, 56 of Shepherdsville passed away at Norton Audubon Hospital on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Janet was a very social person, she could strike up a conversation with anyone, she never met a stranger, and had numerous friends, too many to count. Janet enjoyed singing karaoke and found great happiness in yelling “BINGO!”, she was outgoing and loved to laugh. Janet cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents Betty Garrett and William Burkhead; and sister Cheryl Collett.
Janet is survived by her husband Chester Browning; children Melissa Mullikin (Charles) of Shepherdsville, Jenifier Abbott (Jeff) of Hillview and Jason Lambright of Elizabethtown; brothers David Burkhead (Pat) and Daryl “Bud” Burkhead both of Shepherdsville; grandchildren Christopher Abbott, Tyler Tatum, Trista Abbott, Chloe Mullikin and Joseph Abbott; her dear friend Lori Cole; along with many other family members and countless friends.
The family of Mrs. Browning has entrusted Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation services. The family will be hosting a celebration of life Saturday, May 8, 2021 at First Street Park in Shepherdsville beginning at noon.
