James "Jim" Richard Shumaker, 63 of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday August 4, 2011 with his family by his side.
Jim was born and raised in Ohio and was a Baptist.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Glenna Smith Shumaker and his grand-daughter Taylor Nichole Zollman.
He is survived by his father Lowell Shumaker of Ohio; his loving companion of 4 years Sara Baker; his children Tina Williams of Louisville, KY, Stacey Snapp of Brazil, IN, Bonnessa Coy of Mt. Washington, KY, Melissa Tomlinson (Michael) of Battletown, KY and Alisha Zollman (Jason) of Charlestown, IN; his sisters Peggy Bowers of Columbus, OH and Sandra Sutherin of Centerville, OH; along with 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
