James “Jim” Howard Gurnow, 83 of Shepherdsville passed away on Saturday May 14, 2011 with his family by his side.
He was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Bullitt Co. and was a Corporal in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Hati Gurnow; his siblings Clarence Gurnow, Russell Gurnow and Effie Gurnow.
Jim is survived by his wife Willodene Gurnow of 29 years; his children Cindy Weber (Walter) of St. Louis, MO, Denise Luaders (Raymond) of Florida, Rick Collins (Tammie) of Shepherdsville; his sister Jean Clark of Bellville, IL; his grandchildren Ryan Weber (Natalie), Jenn Martin (Rick) both of St. Louis, MO, Tiffany Collins and Kristen Collins of Shepherdsville; along with one great-grandson Coby Martin of St. Louis, MO.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Rob Rogers and Rev. Terry Rowe with burial in Free Union Cemetery of Columbia, KY.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
