James Lloyd Spann, 93 of Shepherdsville passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 with his family by his side.
He was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church of Shepherdsville and a retired MSGT of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Nellie Spann.
James is survived by his wife Marion J. Spann of 60 years; his children James E. Spann (Bonnie) of Palm Harbor, FL, Robert K. Spann (Donna) of Leawood, Kansas, Lloyd D. Spann (Jeanette) of Atlanta Georgia, Deborah L. Skaggs of Shepherdsville, KY and James D. Spann (Stephanie) of Pee Wee Valley, KY; along with 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Lanny Gardner with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
