James Loyd Roby Jr.

 James Loyd Roby Jr., 70 of Shepherdsville passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital.

 James was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He loved working on cars, tinkering in the garage and always fixing things. He was passionate about his garden and animals. He was a history enthusiast. 

 James was preceded in death by his parents James L. Roby Sr. and Florence Mae Bloyd Roby

 James is survived by his sons Dustin Roby (Gennys Alvarez), Nicholas Roby (Irina) and Travis Roby all of Louisville; his granddaughters Emma Roby and Alina Roby; his aunt Frances Benningfield; his beloved dog Chewy.

 Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow. 

 Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
