James Aaron Perkins, Sr., 82 of Shepherdsville passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Perkins, Sr. and Helen M. McAdams Perkins; along with his wife Eva Joyce Perkins
He was a member of Valley Chapel of Prayer. He enjoyed being with his family and spending his days fishing at the lake.
James is survived by his children Tina Calhoun of Shepherdsville and James Perkins, Jr. (Pat) of Jamestown; his siblings Sally Freeman of Shepherdsville, Jesse Laswell (Paul) of Lebanon Junction, Bennie Perkins (Nicky) and W.T. Perkins both of Louisville; his grandchildren Jenny Samuels, Nichole Green, Justin Perkins, Sarah and Melissa; along with his great grandchildren Kobe, Keely, Mazlen, Della, Cameron, Jayden, Amara, Paige, Lyndsey, Joycie and Norah.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitations will be Saturday 3-8 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
