James Matthew Lanham, 93 of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday July 11, 2013 at Regency Health Care Center.
He was a native of Marion County Kentucky, a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, American Legion #157, a former member of Bullitt County Board of Education and the former owner and operator of the Pioneer News.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his parents Effie and William Lanham and all of his siblings.
He is survived by his daughter Ann Wiley of Shepherdsville, his grandchildren Teresa Melody (James) and Matthew Wiley, his great grandchildren Alexandria Starks (Robert) and Alisha Melody and Great Great Granddaughter Maggie Mae Starks.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral home with Rev. Jim Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
