James “Jimmy” Earl Donaldson Sr., 80 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at Kindred Hospital.
Jimmy was a Baptist by faith and a retired employee of Coca-Cola where he worked for 36 years. Jimmy enjoyed listening to Hank Williams Sr. music, mowing his yard and time with his grandchildren.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Alpha Donaldson; his parents Jess and Mabel Donaldson; along with siblings Raymond, Clarence, Keith, Mary and Deanie.
Jimmy is survived by his children James Donaldson Jr. (Christy), Jonathan Brent Donaldson (Becky) and Gina Thompson (Maynard) all of Shepherdsville; his siblings Loretta, Thelma, Mildred, Arthur and Donnie; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Brownsville, KY.
Visitations will be Wednesday 3-8 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
