James V. Holland, Sr. 67 of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday May 26, 2011 at KindredHospital in Louisville.
He was a native of Louisville and a retired welder for Navistar.
He was preceded in death by is his wife Anna L., two children Jesse and Melissa Holland and his parents James Monroe and Violetta Amanda Holland.
He is survived by his son James V. Holland, Jr. and his wife Carol, brothers Wayne Holland of Boston, Kentucky, Everett Holland, Bill Holland and Marvin Holland all of Shepherdsville, his sisters Carolyn Nemeth of Shepherdsville and Becky Logsdon of Palmyra, IN and four grandchildren.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Jody Caulk on Thursday June 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial will be in CedarGroveCemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
