James Allen Enlow

James Allen Enlow, 67 of Shepherdsville passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
He was a member of Calvary Road Baptist Church. James was a former Shepherdsville Police officer and served in the capacity of chief for a short time. He was a former chief of Shepherdsville Fire Department, he was a Navy Seal and Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded the Sliver Star, Gold Star, and Purple Heart. He was an Ordained Minister, facility manager for Interlake, the co-owner of Enlow’s Towing. He was a EMT for Bullitt County, a Boy Scout Leader, Basketball Coach and a weight lifting coach.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marcella Englert and Harold Enlow, his son Rob Enlow and his sister Judy Rauscher.
James is survived by his wife Bonnie Enlow of Shepherdsville; his children Bonnie Casey (Ben) of Shepherdsville and Staci Peyton (Jason) of Louisville; his siblings Jane Taber (Donnie) of Japer, IN., Phyllis Taylor (John) of Huntingburg, IN., Janet Edrington of Ferdinand, IN., Mike Enlow (Deb) of Jasper, IN., Steve Enlow of Evansville, IN., and Mark Enlow of Evansville, IN.; his grandchildren Hayden Casey, Brandon Casey, Nick Casey, and Jason Casey; and a great granddaughter Gracie Casey.
Memorial Service will be Noon on Monday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Jaime Sicairos officiating.
Visitation will be Monday at 9 a.m. until time of service.
