James "Billy" William Johnson Sr., 53 of Mount Washington passed away suddenly Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Jewish Medical Center South with his family by his side.
He was a member of Independent Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.
He is preceded in death by his parents Logan and Mildred Johnson and a sister Geneva Highfill.
Billy is survived by his beloved Jodie Bennett; his children Cathi Johnson of Shepherdsville, James Johnson Jr., of Louisville and James Russell Smith of Louisville; his siblings Sarge Johnson of Fern Creek and Johnny Johnson of Louisville; along with many other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Visitations will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 until time of service.
