Hillary "Jack" G. Bleemel, 92 of Shepherdsville passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2013.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, a Army Air Corps veteran and a retired Millright Local 1031. He was a former Sheriff of Bullitt County and Postmaster.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, two children Jackie Mitchell and Sara Back, his parents Matthew Pete and Wava W. Bleemel, his siblings Douglas MacAurther, Ray and Bernie Bleemel.
He is survived by his children Liz Sparks (Danny), Doug Bleemel (Cherie) both of Campbellsville, Linda Tinnell (Albert), Clara Philpot and Tina Smith (Jeff) all of Shepherdsville, his siblings Teresa Fortner (Joe) of Mt. Washington, Billy Bleemel, Ralph Bleemel (Mary Lou), Joe Pete Bleemel (Mary Sue), Sug Hardy (Bill), Wyota Maraman (Lloyd), Doris Kawalski (Walt) all of Shepherdsville and Linda Mitchum (Jerry) of Bardstown, 11 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Brother Carl Thomas officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
