Herbert "Slim" Cox, 87 of Shepherdsville passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Loved coon hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Hettie Cox and siblings Hubert Cox and Myrtle Corbridge.
Slim is survived by his wife Doriscella Cox; his children Cindy A. Adkins (Ronnie) of Shepherdsville, Tony Cox (Vickie) of Shepherdsville and Tammy Lee (Jack) of Lebanon Junction; his siblings Kenny Cox of Shepherdsville, Gene Cox (Phyllis) of Shepherdsville, Jimmy Cox of Leitchfield, Nora "Dude" Skaggs of Leitchfield, Lorene Mann of Atlanta GA, Helen "Punkin" Howlett (Charles) of Shepherdsville and Wanda Cox (Gary) of Denver CO; his grandchildren Shelley Westwood, Bethany Wilkerson, Adam Cox, Ashley Roth, Brandy Gaw, Justin Cox and Dustin Cox and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in Hebron Cemetery in Shepherdsville.
Vistitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Monday.
