Henry Augusta Stansbury

Henry Augusta Stansbury, 69 of Frenchburg passed away at Lexington VA Medical Center on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Henry retired after working more than 20 years, from Bullitt County Stone, where he was a heavy machine operator. He was happy plowing his property atop his tractors and equipment. Henry enjoyed being outdoors, he was a hunter and a fisherman, proudly hauling home the days catch. He was the life of the party, his laugh was contagious, he made sure a good time was had by all, and he was famous for his dance moves. Henry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, his loving words of wisdom and support will be forever treasured.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mattie Stansbury; along with his siblings Richard Oscar “Buddy” Fields and Darnell McCubbins.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Stansbury; his children Joshua Stansbury (Suzette) of Lawrenceburg and Jama Stansbury (Andrew Adams) of Shepherdsville; his siblings Donald Stansbury and Betty Louvennia both of Shepherdsville, and C.L. McCubbins of Louisville; his grandchildren Sophia Rain Adams, Matthew Cole Stansbury, and Makenzie Raine Stansbury; along with additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitations will be Friday 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
