Harold "Tommy" Murphy Jr.

Harold “Tommy” Murphy, Jr. 54 passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, February 8, 2019.
He was an employee of Loudon Sheet Metal, a native of Louisville and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 110. He enjoyed racing at the Louisville Motor Speedway and Sportsdrome. He raced slot cars at the Bullitt County Speedway. His greatest love in life was his granddaughter Taylor, she affectionately called him Tootles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Genny and Harold T. Murphy, Sr.
He is survived by his wife Helen Phelps Murphy of Louisville, a son Thomas (Ted) Murphy of Louisville, a brother Donald Murphy (Germaine) of Georgetown, KY, his granddaughter Taylor Murphy and his nieces Brooke and Megan Murphy.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow in Zion Seperate Baptist Church Cemetery in Campbellsville. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. till time of service.
