Jerry Kerberg, age 82, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday evening,
March 2, 2025, at Nortons Audubon Hospital with her family by her side.
Jerry was active through the years with the Bullitt County Extension Office, even
establishing the Crazy Quilters Club late in 1990s and winning many awards for her
handy work at the state fair. Her passion was her children and grandchildren making
them clothes, teaching them her craft and counseling them in life. She taught many how
to sew, making quilts and crafts for all she knew, sharing her gift to create something
amazing from every scrap of material she could get her hands on.
Jerry was preceded in death by parents, Lilly and Jim French; father-in-law and mother-
in-law, Lewis and Angela Kerberg; and sister Judy White.
Family mourning her death, husband of 63 years, Lewis Kerberg; daughters Ann
Kerberg (Vicki), Angie Jones (Sammy), Katrina Bramlett (Victor), and Serena Kerberg;
sons Lewis Kerberg (Donna) and Terry Kerberg. They have twelve grandchildren
Micalan, Alex, Ethan, Cole, Stephanie, Cristen, Caroline, Callie, Joci, Justin, Meagan
and Brandon; five great grandchildren Macie, Maddie, Myah, Gwen and Bowie;
granddog Wren; nieces, nephews and a host of close friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family at a later date.
