Geneva Tinnell Ratchford 79 of Shepherdsville passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Green Meadows Nursing Home in Mt. Washington.
She was a native of Bullitt County Kentucky, a 25 year employee of King Fish, K-mart and a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ratchford, her parents George Washington and Molly Edith Tinnell, her sons Robert, Gerald and James Johnston and a sister Sandra Ryan. She is survived by her children Janet K. Hutchinsonn (Dennis) of Shepherdsville, Jackie A. Sego, and Christopher L. Kessler of Shepherdsville, her siblings Yvonne Masden, Darnell Travis of Florida, Georgia Faye Jackson, Lucille Tinnell, Rita Maraman, Sharon TInnell and Sherman Tinnell all of Shepherdsville, 8 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11;00 a.m. Monday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and from 11a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, and after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
