Gayla Yvonne Chandler, 70 of Mount Washington passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Baptist Heath with her family by her side.
She was a former employee of Bullitt Lick Middle School.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Mary Chandler.
Gayla is survived by her daughters Lisa Carter of Bowling Green and Melody Cox of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren Brittany Mills, Eric Bowers, Nicholas Carter and Aiden Carter; along with Jace the Cat.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to take place at a later date.
