G.W. "Dub" Rodgers

G.W. “Dub” Rodgers 83, passed peacefully at home in the early hours of June 30, 2018. He was born March 29, 1935 in Pecan Grove, Oklahoma.
After his retirement from the Navy, he held several positions in the construction and building maintenance industries, worthy of his superior knowledge. He was a friend to all and faithful in spreading the Word of Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Glenn, and his 10 siblings.
He will be sorely missed by his wife of 25 years, Barbara, as well as his daughter, Michele Amini (Ralph), from his first marriage to Betty Hardin. Also his daughter-in-law, Robyn. Their children Aryanna Amini, Syrous Amini, Zhaleh Vaughn (Mark), Azita Amini, Austin Rodgers (Keli), and Amber Rodgers.
And his step-children, Robert Jessop, Jr. (Paula), Rebecca Fish, Elizabeth Gumm (Randy), Chris Jessop, and John Jessop. Their children also survive: Robert Jessop, III (Carrie Nell), Andrew Jessop, Clarissa Dennis (Matt), Lindsey Swann (Anthony), Stephanie Beaty (Tony), Barrett Fish, Katherine Vetter (Brian), Josh Gumm (Dana), Lauren Finck (Justin), Emily Gumm, and Roni Jessop.
As well as many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, to whom he was greatly admired.
A special thank you to friends Patrick and Darlene Lowe, and their children Alex, Spencer, Caleb, and Savannah, for their constant loving support.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 5, at 12:00 P.M. at Evangel World Prayer Center, 6900 Billtown Road. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service, with burial in Resthaven. Rev. Bob Rodgers, Dub’s nephew officiating.
