Fred A. Fawbush 79, of Shepherdsville passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 with his wife by his side.
Fred was born in Louisville, Kentucky, September 26, 1937 to Robert & Anna Stiggers Fawbush.
He was a United States Marine serving from 1955 until being honorably discharged in 1962 and retired from General Electric after 25 years of service. He previously worked for Sinclair Oil Company and Chevron Oil Company. He had owned Fawbush Chevron in Middletown for 11 years.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Robert Lee and Anna Aline Fawbush; his son Robert Lee Fawbush; along with his siblings Corene Fawbush Brown, Mamie Humphrey, Melvin Fawbush, Joseph Fawbush, Buddy Fawbush, Clifford Fawbush and Terry Fawbush
Fred was married to his loving wife Brenda Benham Lamb Fawbush in Pigeon Forge, TN, December 20, 1998; he is also survived by his children Michael Stephen Fawbush (Myrna) of Columbia, TN, Sean Patrick Fawbush (Tobey) of Louisville, Mary Michelle Vossen (Kenny) of Shepherdsville and Craig Lamb (Debbie) of Shepherdsville; his siblings Dorothy Tichenor, Loretta Fawbush of Louisville and George Fawbush of Muckport, IN; his grandchildren Kala, Alex, Tula and Luca Fawbush and 1 great grandchild Scarlett Brown; along with many other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 3-8 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. until time of service.
