Frank Richard Hatfield

Frank Richard Hatfield, 82 of Shepherdsville passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015.
He was a native of Glendale, Ky, retired Superintendent Bullitt County Public Schools, former principal Shepherdsville High School, former Agriculture teacher, past Executive Director of Kentucky Retired Teacher's Assoc., also served on Seven County's Board of Directors, past president of Shepherdsville Lion's Club, former member of the American Cancer Society Board and Road to Recovery volunteer, Former State Director AARP and a US Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lucille Hatfield, his siblings Eugenia Hall and Hardin "Sonny" Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Martin Hatfield of Shepherdsville, his children Karen Ann Hatfield Cross of Jacksonville, FL and Scott Richard Hatfield (Dedre) of Mt. Washington, a brother Larry Hatfield of Ft. Thomas, his grandchildren Allison Elizabeth Cross, Brett Richard Hatfield, Tate William Hatfield and Brooke Ashlyn Hatfield.
Funeral Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville. Burial will follow in Brookland Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy and Brooks Road) on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. till time of Service. Memorial Contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society.
