Frances Jean Shelton

Frances Jean Shelton, 85 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Green Meadows Health Care Center, with her family by her side.
Frances was a Baptist by faith and a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church. She loved her church and church family. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother that was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed yard sales, auctions, flea markets and playing bingo. She was an animal lover, with her chihuahua Rusty being her most recent favorite.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Shelton; her parents, King and Wilma Jones; her son, Ricky Shelton; her infant twin daughters, Linda and Linnie Sue Shelton; her granddaughter, Amy Moore; her great-grandson, Cody Moore; her siblings, Fred David Jones, Elizabeth “Lollie” Bushong, and Herman “Pee Wee” Crenshaw.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Rose Moore (Ronnie) and Lisa Brown; her sister-in-law, Barbara Webb Shelton; her granddaughter, Cori Moore; her great-grandchildren, Christan, Joshua, Haley, Kenna, Jayla, Shianna, Jared, Keyarra, Paige, Zachary, and Alex; her great-great-grandchildren, Turtle, Kinsley, Ella Carter, Ronnie, Chandler, Asher, Braxton, Mason, Lilly Rose, and Tera; her nieces and nephews, Julie, Junior, Larkin, Robert, Kim, Suzie, and John; and a host of other family members and friends that she loved dearly.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Vine Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Vine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
