Faye Rene Lay

Faye Rene Lay, 80 of Louisville, KY passed away Wednesday December 4th with her family by her side.
Faye was a Pentecostal by faith and a member of Evangel World Prayer Center. She was a stay at home mom that chose her children over a career. She then showed the same love of Jesus as she pastored for more than 25 years at Evangel. She served in many capacities and found her calling in visiting people in their homes and at the hospital. She was a very giving person who always went above and beyond ensuring people were provided for in their time of need.
She was preceded in death by her parents Orbia and Leatha Dickinson; her brothers Earl, U’Don and Hollis Dickinson; her sister Norma Jean Dickinson.
Faye is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Marvin M. Lay; her children Timothy Lee Lay (Linda) of Norwalk, CT, and Tammy Lynn Vincent (Mark) of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren Andrew “Drew”, Allie, and Layney Vincent all of Louisville, along with a host of beloved family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Evangel World Prayer and Conference Center 6900 Billtown Rd. Louisville, KY 40299 with Pastor Bob Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in Crosswater Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Evangel World Prayer Center.
