Elmer Charles Moon, 72 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was a member of Church of Our Savior. An Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Irene Moon; along with his siblings Catherine, Mary, Daisy and Ralph.
Elmer is survived by his loving wife Lisa Moon; his children Lori Davis (Keith) of Corydon, IN, Carolyn Carter (Gary) of Murfreesboro, TN and Tina Clark (Tony) of Shepherdsville; his siblings Margaret, Sadie and Gilbert; his grandchildren Michael Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Ashley Cefalo (Spencer), Rachel Carter (Jeremiah), Steven Wicker (Shauna), Justin Rose and Bailey Clark; his great grandchildren Nathan and Emma Davis; his best friends Bro. Charles Holmes, Ron Fox, Steve Henninger and Katlyn Stump.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitations will be Friday 3-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
