Elbert Marvin Howell

Elbert Marvin Howell, 82 of Louisville passed away with his family by his side Saturday December 14, 2013
He was a member of Atwood Wesleyan Church, a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a native of Louisville, an avid golfer and a retired car salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Marvin Howell and Flossie Keith Smith; his siblings Carol Howell and Charlotte Staples.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Dorothy Howell; his children Dr. Michael W. Howell (David), David A. Howell (Marina) of Perdido Keys, FL, Becky Johnson (Tom) of Sellersburg, IN, and Lisa Jones (Philip); a brother James Donald Howell of Boyds, MD; along with 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday December 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Embry Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Highway with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
