Edward Price, 74 of Mt. Washington passed away at Baptist Health Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
Edward was a Christian by faith. He lived in the area his entire life, he was a humble man and enjoyed living a simple lifestyle. He was proud of his Indian heritage. Edward was hardworking, he retired from the printing industry, where he performed the duties of a plate maker. He served as the Chief Union Steward, representing his fellow employees for more than 47 years. Edward also worked in carpentry and built several homes. In his free time, Edward was an avid basketball and football fan, he spent several years on a bowling league.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Elizabeth Price; daughter Brandi Price; and siblings Charlotte Foster and Fern Meredith.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Pamela Price; his children Tamara Hogg (Tim) of Shepherdsville, Christina Price of Louisville; stepsons Jeremy Baker (Becca) of Louisville and Nathan Baker (Jennifer) of Taylorsville; adopted children Christopher Price and Kaylee Price both of Mt. Washington; his siblings Betty Arnold (Calvin), Barbara Nichols (Jimmy) and Nancy Janes (Russ) all of Shepherdsville; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; along with several other family members and friends.
The family of Mr. Price has entrusted Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation services, a private burial is to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
