Edward Ray Crigler

Edward Ray Crigler, 90 of Shepherdsville passed Friday, January 19, 2024, at Glen Ridge Health Campus with his family by his side.
Edward was a Baptist by faith and a member of Maryville Baptist Church. He was a self-employed skilled mechanic, he specialized in brakes and front-end work. Edward was also a dutiful member of the Woodmens of the World, a representative of the motto “Dum Tacet Clamet”, meaning “though silent, he speaks”, his character and principles standing strong for generations to come.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fletcher and Della Crigler, his brother Clarence Fletcher Crigler, his stepson Michael Martin, his grandson Matthew Crigler, along with a step great-granddaughter, who passed at birth.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Jeanettia Crigler; his children James Crigler (Joyce) of Shepherdsville, Donald Ray Crigler (Judy) of Shepherdsville, and Veronica Brown (Jimmy) of Upton; and his stepchildren Carolyn Thurman of Elizabethtown, and Patrick Martin (Debbie) of Bee Springs; his brother Lester Eugene Crigler (Dee) of Atlanta, GA; along with 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Jack Roberts. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Visitations will be Wednesday 3-8 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. until time of the service.
