Edna Louise Ashbaugh

Mrs. Edna “Samuels” Ashbaugh of Hillview KY reunited with her Heavenly Father & many loved ones in Heaven on Saturday November 27, 2021. She was born in Shepherdsville, KY on February 12, 1944. She was a Baptist by faith, a homemaker who raised her children with so much love and patience. She rededicated her life to the Lord and made it her passion to spread the word. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, grand dog, her family & friends & vacationing in The Smoky Mountains.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Ashbaugh, her grandson Justin Wales, her parents Everett & Linnie Samuels, five brothers (Charles, Marvin, Robert, Billy & Lloyd Samuels), three sisters (Doris Samuels, Linda Samuels & Brenda Stillwell).
Edna is survived by her loving husband & best friend of 61 years Amos Ashbaugh of Hillview, her children Chuck Ashbaugh (Cindy) of Shepherdsville, Steve Ashbaugh (Shelley) of Shepherdsville, Marilyn Wales (Tony) of Shepherdsville, Lisa Yense of Mount Washington & Michelle Littlejohn of Shepherdsville. Her grandchildren Scotty, Stephanie (Brian), Bobby (Courtney), Kenny (Brenda), Kristin (Blake), Sierra (Zack), Hope & Santana. Her great grandchildren Micheal, Braydon, Tyler, Olivia, Camden, Traci, Brantley, Kinzley, Payton, Colton, and Rydge. Her very special Grand dog Gideon. Her sisters Darlene & Judy, A special niece Jennifer Diaz & a young lady who was like her daughter, Patsy McCain.
Funeral Service will be Monday December 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Rick (Kathy) Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-8 pm, Sunday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
