Dwight Eugene Saunders, Sr. 68 of Lebanon Junction passed away on April 22, 2012 at Veterans Hospital of Louisville.
He was a Vietnam Veteran in the Navy where he served three tours on the USS Yorktown CVS10. He was stationed at Treasure Island Naval Station.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sheilia Weeks and son Dwight Saunders, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Linda Saunders of 47 years; his children Richard (Karen) Saunders of Pioneer Village and Andrew Saunders of Lebanon Junction; his siblings Vaughn (Bruce) Denler of Cedar Rapids Iowa and Lloyd (Joanne) Saunders of Auburn California; along with 4 grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Full Gospel Christian Center of Shepherdsville at 3:00 p.m
