Dorothy Orline Renfrow, 85 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her home with her daughters by her side.
She was born and raised in Marthaville, Louisiana when she met and fell in love with a U.S. Airman, got married and moved to Shepherdsville. A Pentecostal by faith, she was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center for over 60 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid ceramic painter and gardener. She has always had a big heart and a love for helping people. She could regularly be found visiting, caretaking and spending time with her friends in need.
Dorothy loved her family very much. For a season her and Hayden enjoyed traveling in their Airstream. She was a loving grandmother who continually supported her grandchildren in all their endeavors. Loving a good bargain, she enjoyed going to flea markets and bargain hunting with her family.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband William Hayden Renfrow; her parents Larry and Edith Cobbs; her brother Doyle Cobbs.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela Neal (Gregory, “Matt”) of Shepherdsville and Paula Marshall (Kenny) of Mt. Washington; her grandchildren Rachel Mattingly (Josh) and Hayden Marshall both of Shepherdsville; her great-grandson Luke Mattingly of Shepherdsville; along with many family members, both near and far, that she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held graveside at Pisgah Cemetery at 2:00 PM CT on Tuesday, December 22nd, directed by Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, LA.
