Dorothy McCubbins, 77 of Shepherdsville passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Audubon Hospital.
Dorothy retired from the Bullitt County Public Schools in 1994, where she worked as secretary at Lebanon Junction Elementary School for 31 ½ years. Dorothy was a avid Kentucky Wildcat fan and Cincinnati Reds fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents Inez and EH “Chick” Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Brady McCubbins Jr., her daughter Nadji McCubbins of Shepherdsville; her sister Billie Raley; niece Linda Bryant (Jeff); nephew Rob Raley (Andrea); great-niece Tasha; great nephew Erik and her grand-dog Zoe.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with bro. Bob Tipton officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and on Tuesday 9 a.m until time of service. Online condolences may be made at maramanbillings.com
