Dorothy Jean Mcbee

Dorothy Jean McBee, 92 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at her residence with her family be her side.
Dorothy was born and raised in Ravenna, Kentucky and moved to Louisville as a teenager, where she lived most of her life. She was a Baptist by faith and retired from General Electric. She enjoyed painting pottery and pictures, estate sales, traveling, swimming, and walking in the park. She was a precious, loving, and kindhearted woman that loved her family dearly. She was loved by and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Molly Whitener; her brothers Harold, Elmer, Curtis, and Raymond Whitener; her sisters Evelyn Williams and Elizabeth Younce.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Margo Jones; her grandchildren Kent, April, and Paige Jones; her great-granddaughter Raven Jones; her siblings Leonard Whitener, Thelma Cundiff and Emma Younce.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
