Doris Ann Carver, 73 passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital after an illness.
She dedicated her life to spreading the word and sharing the love of God. She was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center and member of the Assembly of God. As a couple with her husband Don, they have ministered to the Native Americans since 1987 and evangelized through the world. They founded Maranatha Evangelistic Association.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Sally Cloud; brother Sarge Cloud and sister Naomi Wynn.
She is survived by husband Donald E. Carver who joined her on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, their loving daughter Tabitha Sexton and her husband Mickey of Louisville; their 3 grandchildren Carissa Sexton, Eli Sexton and Alec Sexton. Doris is survived by her sisters Faye Stanfield and Mary Jones (Coy) both of Dizney, KY and Sue Sullenger of Louisville; along with several nieces, nephews, loving family members and countless friends.
Funeral Service and visitation are private for immediate family only. Maraman Billings Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
A service to celebrate the Carver’s life and their 46 year ministry will be held at Evangel World Prayer Center, 6900 Billtown Road on September 25th at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made to the Lord’s Kitchen.
