Donald Eugene Gootee 69, passed away on Saturday November 29, 2014 at his home.
He was a native of Louisville and a retired employee of the old Fitzgerald Distillery and a catholic by faith.
He is survived by his siblings Hazel Roution (Bobby) of Shepherdsville, Theresa Batts of Louisville, Mary Ruth Peters of Jeffersonville, IN, Catherine Hailey (Johnny) of Danville, VA and Joseph Cleveland Gootee (Viola) of Warner Robbins, GA.
Funeral service will be on 12:30 pm on Monday December 22, 2014 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery-Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 a.m. till time of service.
