Deacon James Yocom, 39 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.
He enjoyed hiking and volunteered his time cleaning up neglected cemeteries. Deacon was a supporter of Louisville local music and artist.
Deacon is survived by his parents Dennis Yocom of Louisville and Tevis Caulk of Shepherdsville; siblings Chelsea Mayer and Travis Cole Yocom both of Louisville, and Sara Rae Yocum of Jacksonville, FL; his nephew Blaze Allen and niece Kiya Mayer both of Louisville; along with many other family members and friends.
The family has chosen cremation.
