David Ray Lewis

David Ray Lewis, 65 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.
David was born in Louisville, KY. He grew up in Iroquois Park and lived in Harlan County, then moved to Bullitt County in 2008. He loved his grandchildren dearly, spending time with family, always keeping busy and being outdoors.
David was preceded in death by his father Clayton Lewis; his granny Francis Lewis and his grandpa Elijah Lewis; his siblings Robin Zettler, Timmy Lewis, Heather Lewis, Kaye Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, and Patty Lewis; his beloved dog Snuggles.
David is survived by his wife Gloria Jean Lewis of Shepherdsville; his children Ashley Fleener (Gary) of Hillview, Brian Lewis (Jennifer) of Louisville, Kari Mingus (Derek) of Mount Washington, Justin “Punk” Noe of Shepherdsville and Maliyah Lewis of Shepherdsville; his siblings Spring Sutton, Cindy Dodd, Penny Caveness, Cathy Delp and Scott Lewis; his grandchildren Andrew Gruber, Devin Lewis, Chance Mingus, Landon Bennett, Mackenzie Mingus, Kayden Lewis, Rayland Bennett, Maliyah Lewis and Jace Lewis; along with his beloved dogs Diesel and Rosie.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
