David Anthony Aldridge

David Anthony Aldridge, 39 of Shepherdsville, returned home to his heavenly Father on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
David was “ten feet tall and bullet proof.” He was loyal, devoted, and family was his top priority in life, especially his son, Dodge. He was a mechanic by trade, enjoyed tinkering with electronics, music, and time spent with his family. He had a great number of friends, was a great dad, and will be missed tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Pepper, and Beatrice Adams.
David is survived by his fiancé Stephanie Longacre; his son, Dodge Aldridge; his step-children, Skylar, Michael and Chyenne; his father and step-mother, Gary Aldridge and Linda; his mother and step-father, Mary Aldridge and Kevin; his siblings, Brittany (Kenny), Amber (James), and Lynda (Jamie); his grandparents, Janie and Monty Aldridge; his nieces; Jaimalyn (Jonathan), Josalynn, Paige, and Madison; his nephews, Dalton, Joseph, Eathan, Gage, Garrett, Michael Shawn, and Evan James; along with many other friends and family, including his dog Dab, all which he loved dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Cremation will follow the service.
The visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
