Dale Hardin Franklin

Dale Hardin Franklin, 66 of Hillview passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
Dale was a Baptist by faith. He served as a machine operator for several years. Dale was a kind, caring and loving Father, Brother, and Papaw. He enjoyed working on classic cars and playing with his beloved cats. He loved to grocery shop, plan and cook amazing meals. He truly treasured family meals spent together, sharing good food and laughs, and the memories made. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandkids, he loved being a Daddy and a Papaw. Dale was loved dearly by his family and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Alice Franklin, along with his brother David Franklin.
Dale is survived by his daughters Samantha Franklin (Carlos Lightfoot) and Jennifer Leigh Franklin both of Hillview; sister Arlene Thomas of Louisville; grandchildren Johnathan Dale Franklin, Cierra Huddleston, Kiana Lightfoot and Dalton Dale Franklin; several nieces, nephews, and additional family members; along with his beloved cats Tiger and Sister Fats.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
